CHAPORITE HO – CHLON 70 ( Calcium hypochlorite ) .
Chlorine is a water purification agent commonly used by Regional Drinking Water Companies (PDAMs).
This chemical compound is often used as a water disinfectant because it can kill bacteria, germs, and viruses that cause disease .
Dosage of Chlorine for Water Sterilization
● Use 1 tablespoon of chlorine / 1000 liters of water (put 1 tablespoon of chlorine into +/- 5 liters in the bucket and stir, then put it into the reservoir (if not, add another 2 tablespoons / 1000 liters of water)
● Chlorine can be used together with alum ( 1 tablespoon of chlorine + 5 tablespoons of alum / 1000 liters of water ) .
